American Society of Civil Engineers Database on BMP Effectiveness Studies
"The primary purpose of this database is to report on
the effectiveness of urban storm water BMPs using rigorous, scientifically valid
data and information....The rigorous screening criteria that ASCE developed to
evaluate all the past studies were also intended as guidelines for researchers
conducting BMP effectiveness studies in the future to help ensure good quality
data would be collected for the database." The National Stormwater BMP Database and search engine can be found at
the following link:
http://www.bmpdatabase.org/
Overall the database contains 170 structural and 28
nonstructural BMPs. Six of the 198 BMPs are in NC.
